You are either (1) happy at a successful larger company or (2) evaluating other startups.
If you are at #1 - join us because:
- LLMs present the greatest opportunity to build this century. This is larger than the iPhone moment, blockchain, or the cloud. You do not want to be on the sidelines. You want maximum ownership when there is an opportunity to make generational impact/wealth. This is only possible with a seed-stage team.
- You want to 10x your learning curve and grow as an engineer. Learn by building. You will ship more with us in a week than at most companies in a quarter. Besides, a significant % of being successful at larger companies is about being good at navigating the inner workings of these larger companies. This is not a useful skill anywhere, but that specific company.
- You feel like you are working in quicksand now. You crave a sharper environment.
If you are at #2 - join us because:
- We took businesses from $0 to $100+M revenue before, have a lot of scar tissue, a few significant wins (an exit) and we are pouring all of our energy into us. We will avoid a # of mistakes first time founders make.
- Enough de-risked where we can’t build fast enough, but still tons of challenging problems to solve
- Exceptional technology/problem fit. LLMs were made for financial workflows (a lot of messy unstructured data) and LLMs are great at collections/reasoning
- A problem worth solving: $T+ problem, real impact to businesses, insulated from frontier models because it is a niche workflow with many integrations, and insulated from hype. Regardless of what happens in the world - business will need to understand their revenue and will want more cash.
- You want to be a founder. One of our personal goals is to help you start your next company by sharing everything we’ve learned as we build together
More macro - join us if you want to win.
